Shipping

1. Delivery Timeframes

We offer nationwide delivery within South Africa.

  • Standard Delivery:
    2–5 business days (depending on your location).
  • Orders placed after 3PM are processed on the next business day.
  • Delivery may take slightly longer during high-volume periods (sales, holidays, promotions).

2. Courier Partners

Delaré uses The Courier Guy as our primary delivery partner thanks to their speed, reliability, and national coverage.

However:

  • If your address is in an outskirt, rural, farm, or hard-to-reach area, we reserve the right to ship your order using a different trusted courier service.
  • Alternative couriers may include: Fastway, RAM, Internet Express, or other reputable partners that service your location better.

This ensures your package reaches you in the quickest and safest way possible.


3. Shipping Fees

  • Free delivery on all orders over R900.
  • R60 delivery fee for orders under R900.
    (Unless we are running a free-delivery promotion.)

Shipping fees are automatically calculated at checkout.


4. Order Processing Time

  • All orders are processed within 1 business day.
  • Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.
  • In the event of delays due to stock verification or address issues, our team will contact you immediately.

5. Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive:

  • An SMS notification,
  • An email notification, or
  • Both (depending on your selection at checkout).

These updates will include your courier tracking number and a link to track your parcel in real-time through:

  • The Courier Guy tracking system, OR
  • The alternative courier’s tracking page (if applicable).

If you do not receive tracking details within 24 hours after ordering, please contact us.


6. Delivery Attempts

Couriers will attempt delivery to the address provided.
If no one is available to receive the package:

  • The courier may attempt delivery again, or
  • Contact you to arrange a suitable delivery time, or
  • Redirect the parcel to the nearest collection point (depending on the courier’s rules).

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a valid and complete address and ensure someone is available for delivery.


7. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Delaré is not responsible for delays or mis-delivery caused by:

  • Incorrect addresses,
  • Missing unit/complex numbers,
  • Invalid phone numbers, or
  • Customer unavailability.

If an order is returned to us due to incorrect details, the customer will be responsible for the second delivery fee.


8. Outskirt Deliveries

Outskirt or remote areas may experience:

  • Slightly longer delivery times,
  • Delivery via an alternative courier,
  • Additional routing through a regional depot.

We will always choose the courier that ensures the fastest and most reliable delivery to your area.


9. Lost or Damaged Parcels

In the rare case that your parcel is:

  • Lost,
  • Significantly delayed, or
  • Arrives damaged,

please contact us immediately. We will investigate the issue with the courier and assist you with a resolution.

Delaré will replace or refund orders confirmed as lost by the courier.


10. International Shipping

At this time, Delaré only ships within South Africa.
International shipping is not yet available.
